Property viewings

Howdo I communicate with the other party prior to viewing to make arrangements?

Once the homeowner confirms a visit booking, a secure in-app chat will open two hours before the scheduled time slot. This feature allows seamless coordination between the homeowner and the home seeker for the on-site meet-up. You can easily update the other party about your arrival at the agreed meeting point, such as the main entrance, lift lobby, side gate, or guardhouse. The chat remains accessible even after the visit, ensuring continued communication if needed. Additionally, our modern chat system includes a built-in moderation tool and allows users—or Kucing—to block anyone who violates the Terms of Service.

Do I need to be physically present for visits?

No, but you must coordinate with the person you delegate to (either a family member or tenant). Keep in mind that, as the official Kucing user, you remain fully accountable for all actions and initiatives carried out under your name. Lastly, your user rating will be applied to your profile.

Why communication channel opens only before a visit?

Experience shows that home seekers often encounter inquiries that can feel discouraging. While key property details—such as descriptions, photos, pricing, and profile verification—are readily available upfront, we believe that genuine interest from prospective buyers should lead to a clear intention, such as a “view to offer.” Additionally, there is abundant information online about various property developments, including private, public, and joint projects, providing valuable context for informed decision-making.

How cancelations and ‘No shows’ work?

Both parties have the flexibility to cancel at any time; however, cancellations made less than 2 hours before the scheduled visit will be classified as a “no-show.” In such cases, Kucing reserves the right to temporarily suspend users who repeatedly demonstrate unreasonable behavior or a pattern of “no-shows.” We take a firm stand against the misuse of others’ time—after all, nobody appreciates that!
