Once a viewing request is confirmed, a secure in-app chat will open between the parties. This allows the homeowner, agent, or home seeker to coordinate practical details before the viewing, such as arrival time, meeting point, or access instructions. For example, you can agree to meet at the main entrance, lift lobby, side gate, or guardhouse. To help protect your privacy, communication can be managed directly within Kucing, without the need to share personal contact details unless you choose to do so. Under paid plans, the chat may remain accessible after the viewing, allowing both parties to continue the conversation securely if needed. Kucing’s chat includes moderation and blocking features. Users who breach our Terms of Service may be blocked by other users or by Kucing.
No, you do not need to be physically present for every viewing. You may arrange for someone you trust, such as a family member, tenant, or authorized representative, to attend the viewing on your behalf. However, you are responsible for coordinating with that person and ensuring they have the necessary information to manage the visit properly. As the official Kucing account holder, you remain responsible for any activity carried out through your account or under your listing. Any ratings or feedback related to the viewing may also be reflected on your profile.
Kucing opens the in-app chat only after a viewing request has been accepted to help keep conversations focused, relevant, and respectful of everyone’s time. Before requesting a viewing, home seekers can already review key listing details such as the property description, photos, price, floor plan, available verification badges, and recent market data where available. This approach encourages users to request a viewing only when they have a genuine interest in the property. Once the request is accepted, the chat opens so both parties can coordinate practical details securely within the app. This also helps reduce casual or repetitive enquiries and allows homeowners, agents, and home seekers to communicate with clearer intent.
Both parties may cancel a confirmed viewing if needed. However, cancellations should be made as early as possible so the other party has enough time to adjust their schedule. A cancellation made less than 2 hours before the scheduled viewing may be treated as a late cancellation. If a user does not attend a confirmed viewing without cancelling in advance, this may be treated as a no-show. Kucing takes repeated late cancellations and no-shows seriously, as they can waste other users’ time and reduce trust on the platform. We reserve the right to review, limit, or temporarily suspend accounts that repeatedly behave in an unreasonable or disruptive manner.
If the person who shows up does not match the User Profile or is not the expected person, you are not required to proceed with the viewing. For your safety, pause the meeting and verify the situation through the in-app chat.
If the explanation is unclear, or if you feel uncomfortable at any point, you should end the viewing and leave the location. Please report the incident to Kucing as soon as possible. We may review the profile and listing, and take appropriate action. This may include requesting clarification from the user, removing the listing or profile, restricting or banning the account, or notifying the relevant authorities where necessary.
